sometimes, mostly when the car is cold there is a delay from when i put the car in the crank position to when it actually cranks....sometimes a few seconds, sometimes 10 seconds...i noticed its slowly getting worse...where should i start looking...car cranks over perfect when it does crank...anyone else run into this problem? I was thinking maybe ignition switch..maybe even the anti theft in the lock cylinder...what do you guys think and where should i start?

there have been many problems with the "s-wire" on all ford vehicles (its the small wire going to the starter) they get corroded and ive seen a slight delay caused by this before, not to mention its virtually free to fix. just clean the connector or poss replace it if its too bad

mine does it to always wonderd what caused it never wanted to make a thread haha. But is it easy to get to.
