so I might end up dropping the getting angel eyes installed as my next plan to ordering up wheels since these deals look really good

Either I can go with the Wheel/Tire packe of these Stern ST-6s 18" 38mm offset with LingLong L-688 225/40/18 tires for only little over $700 bucks

or I can get these ADR G-19s in a Hyper Black or Gloss Black in a 19" size and 38mm offset with Diamondback TR968 235/35/19 tires for little over $900

ya, never heard of em :P but 750 for 4 18x8.5 wheels w/ tires doesn't sound too bad :P

Until you slide off the road in the rain and bend a few wheels. Never understood people spending a lot of money on wheels only to put a cheap sh*t tire around them. Makes no sense. But hey, your car..do whatcha like.

lol well wheels can always be replaced...i'm just getting ppl's opinions on what wheels they would enjoy a silver LS wearing since I like both styles and i don't mind 19s or 18s on....so I'm just getting opinions and I thank you for yours

Ling Long, Diamondback?

What The F*ck?

Dude why replace wheels cause you buy sh*t tires? Thats completely f*cking stupid in every sense.

If your going through Nates you can get better tires then that, just belly up and spend a little over a grand and be done with it. Even my cheap ass Nexens that I got with the wheels from Nates arent that bad.

I say the ADR fan blades. The cuts on those Sterns are way to much!

New chinese tire. VERY low priced. Nice tread pattern, but according to a recent review in either Car and Driver or Road and Track, the DRY performance of those tires was worse than the WET performance of comparable non-chinese brands.

DONT DO IT

really like those adrs, i was looking at them when i was getting another set of 20s but i only found them in 19s. i think there is a member that has them on his silver LS, so find that picture and you will see pretty much exactly what your car will look like with them on pete.

Yea some other guy has those ADR's.. Theyre called propulsion if Im not mistaken.. Seriously Pete dont buy sh!t tires, its not worth it in any way, buy some toyos or kumhos, something atleast halfway decent..

not a fan of the adr so i say go with the stern. and i agree on the tires dont put you or someone elses life in danger to save a few hundred bucks

will do. I was gonna get Kumho's or Fuzions if anything just I've never heard of those 2 tire brands or the tire size so just had to check preference. The wheels alone on the sterns are 500 and the ADRs are about 600-700

they do have the ADRs in 20s for our size. Question is does the Hyber Black or Gloss Black look better with a birch silver LS. I'll most likely be having a 2tone paintjob down the road most likely a silver/black theme to it.

I think the Hyper Black should look nice, does'nt call too much attention to itself like the gloss black does plus I'm sure the gloss black would show dirt/sh*t more. So I might just consider them ADRs in 19x8.5 in the hyperblack but you guys think 38mm offset might be too small?

the offset will be good, you shouldnt have any problems with rubbing or anything, my 20s have a 35 offset and i had to barely roll my fenders in the back to stopp rubbing on bumps. so i think you will be fine,
as far as tires just look through tire rack and check out expert and user rating on them, i got a set of 245/35/20 dunlop sport signatures for 96 bucks a piece and they are a pretty decent tire and even better
for the price, so you dont alway have to spend crazy $ on tires but definatley make sure they are a safe choice.

Pete I know where a set of 20" Verde Kaos with tires are for 900. They are chrome and came off an LS. The tires are not new but have some tread on them.

ya Tirerack is where I have seen the good deals. I was originally gonna wait til winter blows over to get new wheels but considering how my bridgestones acted up in the rain yesturday I should rethink that.

Try Continental extreme contacts excellent year round tire for great price

powder coating would be easy since I have a friend who does it...just gotta get in contact with him and drive out there :P
