Hey Mike, it's all good. I think he was just upset with the situation. I just read your PM and I will give you a call a little later today. I hope all is going good in your world.

KC, you're a better person than I am. If I saw someone I tried helping, bad mouthing me. I wouldn't sell them a damn thing.

On a side note, either grill in good shape?

Screw...hehehe! One is good and one is $#,!. Life is to short to be negative. You have to be able to find the positives and move on. Take it easy!!

I take it easy....cause it is pretty easy to decide who I wouldn't sell parts to.

Shoot me a pm price on the grill, have a buddy that needs one...his looks like a hillbilly's mouth.

KC is one of th best people I have ever met. Keep on keepin on and I'll see you on the boulevard. Or I-35.

Those that have been buying and selling on CL know that over the past decade that things have drimatically changed on there.

Used to be businesses couldn't advertise on there, now I have to weed through crappy dealer listings just to look at cars I want to shop for, and or parts.

The other part of that is the honesty of the individuals selling on there.

I called about a fuel cell that I needed for my turbocharged rock crawler project, guy said it was a through the floor style cell and didn't leak.

I drove 50 miles one way in my truck (10mpg) to go pick it up and it was a cell that sits on top of the trunk floor and the bulk head nylons were cracked and had been leaking, it was still a deal, but it was a bout a half step backwards from what I was trying to accomplish.

CL has to be taken with a grain of salt now days, rules of the game so-to-speak are really non existant, I know what you were told in an email, and we know what he was told, but really, how many people did she talk with or email?

You should have gotten a phone number and called her directly, but even then if you have sold as many things on CL that I have I still don't belive people that call me on the phone.

Too many times have I sat here all day when I could have been doing something else and no one showed, or call them back and get some lame excuse as to who, what, why, and WTFever.

Generally, I tell them here's the address, and here's when I'll be here, anytime before or after that you'll be met by a gun.

This had deterred some of the crappy people from coming over and doing the tire kicking, I now have about a 90% success rate on selling.

But back to the matter at hand, it's a throw of the dice when your a seller, as to being able to get what you want, just like they tell you to come over and guess what, there not even there, and won't even answer they're phone.

You shouldn't get butt hurt too bad, people these days are just pieces of $h1t, and thier words mean nothing.

Just be glad the Mark's were bought by another forum member and he's willing to work with you, you may never know, you two could wind up being pretty good friends over all this, he may even employ you to dismantle the cars for your pick of choice on parts so he can go do other things, but yet get his cars taken apart.

[Blunty stated] Just get over the raw deal the lady gave you focus on what you have available at hand, let the rest be water under the bridge and move forward to getting your 93' drivable again, he's willing to work with you, so now that he has left the door open, don't drag this out anymore and get the door slammed in your face. [/Blunt voice]

Great things can come of this from many perspectives.

Good luck getting titles. I mean the deals are awesome but you will have to do those funky title searches and mechanics liens and then you have to deal with the cars possibly h ave existing liens on them.

I almost bought a 93 that is in much better shape than my current car for cheap which had the sunroof and everything but the paperwork would have been a nightmare. The car had an existing lien that was no longer being paid on so the car was setup for repo but the lot was in CA and the car was in WA.
