Well I broke down and bought the part. This afternoon I started to tinker on it and about 2 hrs later I am done. It is not as hard as it looked. You just unbolt the shroud and lift it to the side and you can reach the valve to change it. If anybody needs any more info feel free to ask.

Yea, I just picked one up for 147 from a local Motorcraft distributor and was curious how long this would take to do.

Yea alot of us want to know more details because last year mine was acting stupid and the first time it acts up this year I am going to get another part for it!!! Where is it located???
