so my one side of my car is only blowing really hot air now. dccv, i know i know. but also when i turn on the the heat there seems to be a delay when i turn it on, not always the same length of time but eventually it will kick on. is this common with dccv problems or is it something else.

just want to make sure before i fork out money for this.

Not sure about the delay but another member did mention to me that they had good results with using a radiator flush/cleaner to free up the plungers in there Dccv... I have seen some of that stuff that says to just leave it in the system all the time so you may want to give that a try first. (and report back as I wll follow suit!)

It looks like a really tight spot to remove the Dccv or I would have already removed and cleaned mine...

One day (like when its cold and Im in need of heat) I'm sure I will get into it if I have to.

if you need a dccv, I think i have one. new. I installed it then removed it because I found out that the problem was really the control unit in mine. I dont know what year your car is, but if its a first gen the one I have will fit. I just need to find the box its in.
