I've been having trouble finding help since the search function has been messed up and I need info on this so I can start working on it asap...

So yesterday I'm in the car with the A/C on and all of a sudden I start feeling really warm. The middle and passenger vents are blowing hot air. The drivers side vent is blowing cooler air, not cold though. I shut is down and tried it again a couple times later with the same result. I'm guessing this is the DCCV. Is there anything I can do to confirm it?

If it is the DCCV, how easy is it to replace myself? I'm not a great mechanic, but if I have it laid out what I need to do, I can probably get through it. I also have a friend who works at a dealership who might be able to help me on the side if I can't do it. Is there a place that I can get one for a good price?

Just to add to the fun, less than an hour after the A/C went out, the service parking brake notice comes on. I haven't even used the parking brake since I got the car other than to test it. Any idea what this problem could be?

Thanks for the help!

I think the fail DCCV causes the parking break error. I got the same thing as well as lines running through my navigation screen.

It's a fairly simple job to change it, the worst part is getting at the hose claps.
