Are there any write ups on how to change the DCCV and also how to fix the code 3-2 (airbag light) pig tail something or other.

any pics or detailed write ups?

This is my wifes car, she just mentioned to me that the car was blowing hot air on the passenger side and had the airbag light on. Typical, she didn't mention to me the brakes were out until it was grinding because there was absolutely no pad left.

Thanks for your help in advance.

The part is the DCCV (dual climate control valve). It is located right behind the passenger head light on the lower side. The part cost about $147.72 plu shipping from max at 5star ford. He is a vendor on here. I had to change this part the other day and it took me about 2-3 hours to complete. To change is you have to remove the air intake and un screw the fan shroud. You can twist it to the side and the reach down to get to the dccv. I found that it was easier to unhook the hoses and then just pull the valve off by the rubber mounts. You will see what I am talking about once you get the part in.

This was posted in this thread http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=31416

Hope it helps you, I think it is the only information about replacing the DCCV.

The 32 airbag light could be either the side airbag pigtail under the seat or the clock spring in the steering wheel. The pigtail is a matter of simply clipping a few wires and then crimping on the new pigtail. The clock spring is a little more difficult and requires removal of the steering wheel. Normally when the clock spring goes bad the buttons on the wheel don't work right, but you never know for sure unless you take it to a dealership and have it diagnosed.
