Daytona 24 Hour United Sports Car Championship

Hey everyone!

The countdown is underway for the 24 hour sports car race in Daytona this January 25-26. Grand Am and American Lemans had merged to form the Tudor United Sports Car Championship. Classes of cars were merged from both divisions into 4 Prototype (P), Prototype Challenge (PC), GT Lemans (GTLM), GT Daytona (GTD). There are new rules and many more race cars in this new form. Ford, GM, Dodge, Audi, BMW, Austin Martin, Jaguar, and Mazda all have new enhanced technologies. A lot of teams are required to run v6 engines, because of "decrease in using fuel". Which I think is BS. I love hearing the v8 coyotes scream!

Love to see Lincoln enter the GT Daytona division!!!

If I have time I'll watch some
And if I get whatever channel its on
I also have less and less desire to watch racing as V8s go away.

It was a good race, but the damn channels suck because it was on Fox sports. They didn't preview the whole race on one channel it was 4 different channels. Joao Barbosa in the #5 Corvette Daytona Prototype won in P class.
