Dash swap, Extra plug!

So ive been workin on a black interior swap in my 98. I did the dash today and my donor dash had an extra black plug on the passenger side going into the kick panel. My guess is that its for the cd changer. The original dash had a very long harness coming from the radio area going to the changer and the donor dash did not have this. The donor dash is from a 97. Can anyone confirm this? thanks

isnt their a loose plug over there used to program the remotes or something?

yea you need to post a pic i have done two interior swaps in second gen mark 8's im pretty sure it goes to something it might be tucked away and you just cant see it
