Dash lights

I was driving along a few weeks ago and all my dash lights cut out on me and then a day latter came back on. Well a few days ago everything (except CD player) went out again. The speedo and everything work just no interior illumination so I checked the fuses and poked around a bit but I'm unsure where to really start. Has any one here had a similar problem?

It's happening to my 95 Mark.

mine does that (gen2 i know but) its my dimmer switch, next time it happens just roll it up and down and see if they come back on

Thanks I'll check it out, unfortunetly I think I gave away my last dimmer switch a few weeks ago. Lol

bah mine has always done it just wiggle the switch when it messes up and all seems to be ok for a while again. prob just dirty contacts
