dash lights

Okay so where it says P , R, D or w.e when i hit the lights aren't they suppose to light or no? everything else is fine.... like its not that much of a hassle...but still. How can i fix it...

The bulbs are probably burned out. Remove the woodgrain around the ashtray, then lift the top of the center consol from the front where the shifter is. After the center consol top plastic is off, I don't know exactly if you can change the bulbs from the bottom of the shifter part, but if you need to open it then you most likely need to remove the shift knob.

For shift know, you pul the black part down, there are 2 bolts with philips heads, you remove those and it pulls up. And then you can probably open up the part with the bulbs in there.

Seems like alot of work for something i don't really need since i can clearly see lol. Well thanks for the help i'll try it out sometime.
