Well, my 04 finally showed me it isnt immune to the typical LS parts/system failure, that allot of you have already experienced. After just over a year, this will be my first annoying failure.
Wednesday, we had some sun, and I went to cool the car, with a blast of A/C, and got nothing but hot air from the passenger side vents. Looks like I will be replacing this in the next few days. Right now, it is no problem, as we are expecting highs of only the low 40's, this weekend.
Anyway, I have searched high, and low, and I can certainly do this myself. Anyone out there that has done this change out, that has some last minute suggestions...other than all of the threads on this already?
Dang, I hate it when this stuff happens...

My '05 is being a pain in the butt as well .I only have 25,000 miles and already its needed coils ,had the same problem you are haveing w/ it blowing hot air .When I bought this model year I thought they had corrected some of the issues over my old 2000 but apparantly not and its happeneing even earlier than my 2000 which has 60,000 miles roughly

There have been issues they can't even seem to correct and I have had it back 3 times .It has detination issues which I gave up on them trying to figure it out so I'll just wait for the engine pinging to do its damage and I'll get a new motor under warranty .I love the one where my chrome wheels are starting to show corrosion on the inside but apparantluy they only cover the outside face .........that is sooooo funny . I'll be rid of it before warrantly expires but the newer versions are no less prone than the older versions
