No, not really.

I was going to change the oil in the 95 I bought from Mike. Got the Oil, Filter, and changed into my coveralls. Put the Ramps in front of the wheels, and proceeded to drive on the ramps. Yeah, that wasn't gonna happen. The damned ramps kept being pushed forward. After about 15 minutes of messing with them, I said "screw it, I'm taking it in to an oil change place". I get to the oil change place, and the K member sits lower than the damned 4 inch lip they have around the pit. UGH!

So now, tomorrow, I'm going to go buy new ramps.

Yes, I've tried sticking a piece of thin rubber under the ramps. No luck.

And to top it all off? I have a flat on the Driver Rear. Time to fire up the 5Hp 60 Gallon compressor which I haven't used in... I don't remember, but in a long time.

Well Sir, because that would involve having to slide a floor jack under the car, and the lowest Jack I have won't fit under the car.

wow how low is your Mark? I lowered my Mark VIII and I never had any problems putting a jack or ramps under her. But after I totalled her now that was a different story, she had all 4 bags on the ground, to move her it was a pain. I had to get a 4 by 4 and lift her to then put a jack under the 4x4 and then when I got her high enough, put another jack under her to then lift her up, take out the 4by4 with the jack, and then go to work on another side. It was a pain.

LOL.... They do sit lower... with the 1.5 lower kit. To get a jack under mine I have to roll up on a set of ramps frist. Lucky my ramps are just low enough. Damn ramps though. I can barely do anything under the car.

For me it's ramps jack, jack stands - jack, remove jack stands, ramps, then down.

But she sure looks good. LOL...

Gently apply your weight to the nose of the car while it is in the initial leveling stage. This will cause the suspension to get higher, then turn the system off.

I made some mini ramps out of some stacked together 2 X 4's to help get the few inches needed some times when the cars slammed. that way I can adleast get my jack under it.

I've got a lowered Mark on springs, and had no problem driving up a pair of ramps when working on it at a friend's house... that is, until I drove OVER the ramps! (Oops!)

Our workaround after that was, I would pull up on a fender, and that would get the car just high enough for the floor jack to get underneath the car. If we needed both sides up, we just did one side at a time, using jackstands to help.

Why not just use the factory sissor jack to get it up high enough to use a floor jack?

Dude, just raise it via the front brace of the k-member. Even when slammed I can get a jack in there. Just to the passenger side or you will be in the way of the oil filter.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. That is a nice jack, I'll have to look into it.

I don't know about where yall live. But around here you can get that same jack from Wal-Mart for about 20 dollars less than they are charging. Bought one yesterday. :)

I've never seen one THAT low from Wally World or any local Auto shop. 3" is pretty darn short!

hmmmm Interesting. I might have to make a trip to Wally world.

See, if it still had air ride on it then you could lift it up to drive up onto the ramps like I do.

LOL!

Yeppers... My plans include having a fully adjustable air ride suspension! Sholdn't be any problems getting that sucker over anything then!

i have no problems jacking my car up. if i did.....turn wheel, reach inside, undo height sensors. watch car lift.

If you Sir can make my Car lift with the sensor trick, I will prnounce you a Mark VIII God. You see, the car has coil overs. :p
