I bought a McLaren grill on eBay that is missing all but one of it's tabs at the bottom. Perhaps I should have waited for a better copy, but I am going to attempt to get this one into install-able condition.

How feasible is it to JB weld new plastic tabs onto it?

The seat back on the passenger side of my car had the plastic tabs broken off from some long legged guy riding in the back.
I tried a couple of times to repair it with epoxy, etc. What finally worked for me was to drill some small holes in both pieces of the broken parts and run a piece of wire through it as a reinforcement, then I JB Welded over the wire and all. It has held for a couple of years. Of course that assumes you can get the wire in there without interfering with the part after installed.

Another option might be to use the fiberglass resin and fabric in the fiberglass repair kits.

Use 3m bumper repair epoxy. Its expensive but it works well and comes with mesh for reinforcement.
