I'm looking into having some custom wheels built by CCW, before they can go forward they need the specifications of the rear brakes to fit the rear wheels.

The car is '05 LS8 Sport.

I searched all last night for this info and didn't get very far...

Anyone?

In addition, the wheels are from www.ccwheel.com

I can't choose between the following, they're all too damn nice...

I cant help you with the dimensions but the second set that you linked to looks like they would work well on the LS.

The entire Modular series they have is very cool. I'm not a big fan of the rest, it just seems like there is not enough wheel for a car like the LS.

You should e-mail them and ask them the best way to measure out the dimensions yourself. I'm sure they would know.

CCW's are probabaly the nicest wheels ive seen, when i saw the deep dish mesh wheels on 03 cobra's made me wet myself

More than likely i'm going to pop off a rear wheel a measure.

The main thing I appreciate from their wheels is that they are simple, the LS is a sleek simple and classy chassis. So wheels with rivets (especially fake) and ridge's and all that other non-sense just take away from the cars' appeal, IMO.

I want to go the fattest I can out back... maybe +45/+50 @ 9.5".

The car is at stock height now but i'll eventually purchase the Eibach's.

I would say go 8.5 in the front and 10's in the back for the real sick stance. What size are you doing ? 18's 19's 20's ?

18"

The sets start at $2600, it's worth one of a kind/custom. I'm getting rid of my s14 (don't want to, but time to move on...) so that will help pay for them.

CCW's are dirty. I like the 505a and the 500's. Do 19's at least.

Very nice wheels. Whatever size you go do 8.5 or 8 front with 45-50 offset and rear 9.5 with 50 offset and you won't have any rubbing problems. You probably won't get too much lip at the back but you can still use a 275 or 285 rubber.

No 18s! unless you drop it. Its too small for the amount of money. 20's or bigger definitally if you are doing custom wheels-or any wheels in my opinion. 18's just dont get the job done unless you drop it.

We'll see, me and the dude are tweaking some things...

I want 18's, my car will be lowered soon. Proof that 18's are dope enough, the signature above this post. That thing is looking GOOD, NYCLS8.

Never been a big fan of more than 18" unless they're real clean, like torqe thrust/bullit style... cause most out there are questionable!

I REALLY like the first three. I am leaning ever so slightly to the first set. But yeah... the first three are all very very nice wheels and will look perfect on the LS; as if they were made for it!
