My understanding is that the Getrag 221 rating is 245NM or roughly 181 lb-ft ( I believe that is continous torque) and peak torque is 221 - which seems to fit the V6 output of 205 lbs-ft..

Two questions, what constitutes "continuous torque"? Is it a load for 1 minute or 24 hrs? I've only heard of this when refer to AC applications. Second question is why do you think that it's max torque is 221? The BMW m3 uses the getrag 226 and it puts out 262 lb-ft of torque.

ive definitely put more torque through it than that. n/a im close to 225ft/lbs.

I have been in contact with 4 turbo install shops that are in Houston and San Antonio. I am looking for best price but also knowledge. I will keep you guys posted.
