i was driving on the high way with the cuz on and got a burning smell after extended use anyone have that prob

need more info. Just saying burning smell will be very hard to pin point. Oil burning smell, radio burning smell, heater burning smell, burn out burning smell, could be anything without more info

It is likely that your "burning smell" related to the long drive, not to the use of the cruise control. First suspect would be oil leaking from the valve cover gaskets.
