This pic was taken today at 78th and Ditmars Ave in Queens. Tree came down taking the pole with it.

Of the 3 vehicles I've seen damaged in my neighborhood, all 3 have been tan/pewter minivans. Strange...

I feel bad for this person, but who parks under a huge tree during a hurricane...? Are New Yorkers really that oblivious to what a hurricane is?

it'll buff out

... hope everyone gets any damage repaired quickly and easily

Not oblivious dunn, but when an entire neighborhood is tree-lined, and 98% of parking is on-street, there's really nowhere else to put them.

Best you can do is what I did: choose an area without trees overhead, and hope a light pole doesn't come down...my $4,000 LS looks great, but there are some messed-up expensive cars in the city right now...

No one likes mini vans, not even the trees.

The pic looks so bizarre. Almost like someone just put the metal pole on top of the tree on purpose for added effect.

too bad it didn't have an LS moon roof, it would have had no problem holding that tree and pole up!
