Cruise control not working Gen 2 ('04 LS)

My cruise control doesn't work, the light does turn on when you hit the switch idk. I don't know where the fuse for it is located. Not an urgent issue. Not even sure if I'm using it right. System is different than every other vehicle I've driven.

Only way to troubleshoot this is by checking for codes first. Otherwise it's all a guess.
What scanner do you have?
