I have heard people on this site say that a cobra cruise control cable will work as a substitute for the cobra intake swap. Is this true, can i use any other mustang cable, and can it be removed from the module?

Swapping cables at the servo is simple. The issues are the cable length and the attachment at the throttle body and cable bracket.

right now I'm using a cobra throttle body, and how does the cable come off of the servo

Hard to explain, but simple to do. There's a plastic cover that twists off, after you depress a small tab, then you unhook the cable. It's pretty simple once you look at it.

I'm having trouble determining where you have that mounted, is it tucked into the fender, and where you able to get the plastic liner back in?

It's mounted in the top rear of the driver's fenderwell. Yes, the fender liner is back on the car.

You know Doug, you never cease to amaze me.. almost everytime someone need to see the item in question you always seem to have a picture of the exact part... what did you disassemble your entire car and picture it then reassemble it? Lol

Great help BTW for anyone who need a precise image to determine the device... Very glad you have a good catalog of pics..
