creative door trim paint

So i took my car to the dollar power wash this morning and a couple of chunks of paint came off of the door molding. Now my problem is that i have a pearl car and dont feel like taking it in. Has anyone used any creative ways to re do their trim?

Its held on with tape. You could run some thin wire behind the trim and cut the tape like a cheese cutter. I assume you mean the whole trim piece and not just the chrome part.

I've heard dental floss works, too. Probably a little less abrasive, too.

A heat gun and bondo spreader works best, and is almost impossible to damage anything that way.

Really? Because my heatgun can hit 1200 degrees, I bet that'd damage them pretty good

Sure if you don't use common sense. Using that thinking a hair dryer can damage the trim
