Just recently, an annoying creaking noise started when at a stop and driving at low speed and turning the steering wheel to the left, only to the left. Turning the wheel to the right will not produce it, at all
The "noise" can also be felt through the steering column, and, to a lesser degree in the left front floorpan area
The noise remains constant throughout the entire arc of steering travel, all the way to the steering stop, it also makes no difference whether the engine is running or not
Has anyone had this problem before?
Any insights or past experiences as to what may be causing this noise?
