Crazy thing happened this morning...

I know i have commented before about my car being sh!t on by birds, well a new toll road opened this past weekend by me. While driving this morning it was completely empty, kinda weird feeling actually. Im going about 65-70 mph and i see up ahead two white seagull type birds right in the middle of the road. I get closer and one flies away but one stays in the road. Im getting closer and closer and thinking to myself "this damn bird needs to get out of the road". The damn thing waited till i was about 20 ft away THEN started to fly away, i swerved to the right but the stupid ass bird only got about two feet off the ground and SLAM... i look and its doing cartwheels over the car and lands sprawled out. Bottomline....dead bird. It was kinda decent size so i pulled over hoping it didnt crack the grill or headlight, etc. No damage luckily but what the hell??? Cant beleive i hit a damn bird on the highway.

Lucky it wasn't one of these NJ Seagulls. Bastards are huge! Would have taken out the front end like a Moose.

Things suck, all in all I hate birds and you get 50 points!
 
I've hit quite a few crows, a bat, and even a buzzard one time. Birds are stupid, the bat just was unlucky I guess... or blind. :p
 
Yeah, a buzzard. I hit that one with my truck with the grille guard. Good thing too cuz it was HUGE! At least a 4 foot wing span on that thing, probably more. That one might have actually broken something if it wasn't for the grille bar.

Did you get any blood out of it Fla02LS?

Surprising no, seeing i hit it going around 65ish. It just tumbled over the car and landed back in the middle of the road. I'm sure its been flattened by now.
 
I once hit a chicken in my friends eclipse, we were talking away cruising threw the country in kentucky and neither one of us noticed a chicken on the dirt road and all we heard was a bump and saw white feathers, well we didnt care much just laughed and went back into our convo, strange thing is when we got back to his place the dog ran up the the bumper sniffing around and started licking something under the wheel what looked like egg yoak:eek:

The dog wanted some Kentucky roadkill chicken man! It was wheel licking good!

i think he meant because you were on a dirt road where you probably wouldnt see anybody. i dont think he was being extremely ridiculously racial.

Driving through Iowa as a kid my dad hit a wild turkey. It was awesome, feathers everywhere. It was like we just ran into a feather pillow at 75mph.

I also hit a goldfinch in Dad's thunderbird. I didn't notice it at all until I got out of the car later. It was wedged between the headlight and hood. Man that was disgusting pulling it out.

Final story: at a cabin in Minnesota on the Mississippi river. One morning I was going for a walk and I noticed a bunch of dead beheaded turkeys. They were laying in the road just past a small hill. It looked like a truck came flying down the road and was at just the right height to rip all of their heads off. It still makes me laugh. Turkeys are the dumbest animals on earth.
 
I can also vouch for the fact that people of any color or nationality are capable of getting stoned on back roads. Or, so I've heard.
 
I ran up and kicked a wild turkey once when I was like 17. Pissed the f*cker of big time!

I kicked a ground hog one day when I was riding at our trails when I was younger also. Thing was just one huge cloud of dust. I kicked him cause he kept digging holes on our run ways.
 
well for that fact yeah I was smoking :shifty: poor chicken and that kentucky fried chicken aint all that different from south dakotas kentucky fried chicken, or new mexicos, i love chicken for i am black
