As the thread states, we all got together for a little meet in Coon Rapids on Saturday. John
(jk52781) didn't get his LS back in time, but still showed up in a vette to see the rest of us. It was nice to b.s. with people who actually "get it" when it comes to the LS addiction :D

The sun was a real bitch to deal with, and my POS point and shoot digital cam couldn't focus properly. And I forgot my damn tripod

But here's a few of the pictures I got. I'm sure the rest of the guys will put up what they got. I know that nic (fbird) got some good pics and video, as did John.

it was fun hanging out with you guys again. Maybe we can all get together in the spring. We'll plan it out better so all 5 of us can show up!

Lookin' good fellas... :D

Pete - nice pick up on the Fondmetals. I always liked those!

Those are some good looking LS's... pektel those wheels look great on your car... you need lowering springs now

Pictures look good guys. Nice to see you guys again. I should have gotten the Vette in their for one pic. Well hopefully I get the car back today. Take care.

Thanks! I had a deal that fell through for 02V8sport's springs. The buyer of his car took delivery before he could swap them out for me. So now it's up in the air which brand of springs I will go with.

eibachs! thats what i'm going with... they are a really well known brand.

I would have to say that they make that color on your car look alot better! (pektel)

That's the stock bumper for 02 LSE's. Round fogs, different lower grille opening, etc.

CrackerJack, you should either cut out those lower grille bars, or paint them black like I did to my lower grille.

Lincoln00- Eibach's have alway's been my number 1 choice, but then I saw how good these wheels looked when combined with Intrax springs. That made me second guess the Eibach's. But I will probably just stay with Eibach.

Way to tell me you got those wheels, I had no idea! Those wheels get around more than a cheap whore. They look sick though, lower that sucker.

I was keeping it a secret. I wanted no one to know, then go to the meet and have them on! I've had them for over a week now.

You need some higher gloss tire shine. It looks dull in the set-up picture.

I used Meg's Hot Shine Tire Gel. I let it sit overnight, even wiped off the excess. It still had a lot of sling. I haven't found atire shine that I like. It probably looks extra dull since I drove about 300 miles between applying it and when the pictures were taken. Those gels tend to attract EVERYTHING. Forget driving on dirt, that's for sure.

Yeah I've yet to find a gel I really like. Supposedly DP is pretty good, and Wolfgang wasn't bad when I tried it. I've yet to try Swissvax Pneu. I wish there were just a glossy shine that was dry to the touch. Hopefully I'll find it.

Hey guys sorry I havent gotten anything up yet. Can't do anything at home with the viruses I have, and haven't had time to do it here at work, but I will soon I promise.

It was fun getting together again. Nice to meet you Tyler (crackerjack), good to see Pete and John again. Man Pete, your camera really didn't like that sun :shifty:. My pics came out a little better. And John, I did get the vette in a couple pics, I'll put those up. Nice cars everyone, can't wait to do it again with even more LSs.

That's gotta be the great part about being a high end detailer, you charge your customers out the ass for detailing services, you buy the best products available to make them happy, and then you get to use them for free. What a life.

:D

Hey, how do you embed a video from youtube directly into the page? Instead of having a link to the video?

well, maybe I should hook you up with some "free" AV software.... that's what my specialty is in, I build computers in my spare time and fix them too :D

LVC recently started directly embedding youtube vids. All you have to post is the URL, and the rest is taken care of :D
