Cowl vent screen / wiper arm removal . . . . am i stupid?

i have a v6
im taking the IM off and doing COPs
i could probly do it without removing the strut bar. but i dont wanna.

but why am i stupid? how to u get the wiper arms off in order to remove the plastic cowl vent screen?

i took the rubber cover and the nut off where the arm ends. but it wont just pull off. it's like it's pressed on.

They are pressure fit. You have to sort of twist and pull at the same time. Or go buy a wiper arm removal tool.

I lifted mine directly up and they came right off.

EASY! PB Blaster made it a piece of cake. and i had tried just lifting real hard but you were right, really just gotta give em a little twist. thanks guys

After removing the nut I just press down on the wiper blade and it forces the attached end off the post. Works every time.
