I have a couple of questions about the brake system on a mark.
1. on the master cylinder there are two lines that connect to it. are they both pushing pressure out
2, why are brake lines run on the bottom of the vehicle out in the open?
I am planning on getting rid of the abs system, that thing looks bulky as hell

opinions more than welcome

1. It's a tandem master cylinder. It has two circuits. Rear circuit feeds the RH front and LH rear. Front circuit feeds the LH front and RH rear. Fluid returns the same way it goes.

2. Don't understand what you mean - how else can they be run?

I'd only consider deleting the ABS if the main unit was broken - if it's ok, then I wouldn't bother messing with it, but your car, do as you please.

So with that tandem circuit i could run the rear brakes with one, and the ront brakes with the other... when i said run abnother way, i was just wondering why they are not enclosed to keep them away from the elemnts, my lines are rusty from sitting so long
