coupe

I doubt it - sadly I haven't liked any designs from lincoln since the mark 8 and with Ford in it's own little financial pickle I doubt that we'll see a decent coupe from Lincoln for a long time.

I Hope your doubt and also others' doubt would make Lincoln bring a MK9 into the market with a "based on the Shelby GT500KR Luxury Coupe" Phrase next to it

Yeah, good idea... base a luxury car on a coupe that is already a fat pig in "sports car configuration" with a McPherson strut front suspension and live axle rear suspension.

No, Lincoln needs to take a look at Cadillac; Don't see them building their cars on a people mover, low-tech chassis do you? What people need and want from Lincoln is a refined luxury vehicle with fully indepenent multi-link or control-arm suspension, solid uni-body, strong brakes and refined/strong engine. Not a vehicle almost entirely based on a Fusion (MKZ), Tarus(MKS) or Mustang, then marked up $15-$20k.

Nope, If I'm going to buy a chassis worth between $19k and $30k... I'm only going to spend between $19k and $30k... not $40k+.

i saw on autoweek one time the rumor of a coupe, but that turned into the MKR concept............it was a streched Mustang with 4 doors and IRS in the back...........
