how about making the first 3 disappear and you got yourself a deal. j/k but seriously that is a crazy price for a CE!

Very crazy price, they will never get it. But damn, 2000 miles?

the sad thing is, so many people roll back odometers - how can we know for sure?

what is the dial on the lower left in this picture?

What a tool. Doesn't that moron understand depreciation, you can't sell a 7 year old car for the same price it originally sold for. I wonder why someone would buy one and never drive it, doesn't make sense.

my dad bought his 1998 CE in July 1998 brand new 2 miles on it i think,he paid $31,995 after lincoln rebate,

that guys nuckin futs

Apparently it was owned by the owner of a car dealership, so that would explain the price and the low mileage (lots of cars to drive).

I beleive some cars have a plug-in under the hood that tells you the odometer reading to check if it was rolled back. My autos teacher was saying somethin about that. I dont know if the mark is equipped with that.

Good God please don't tell him there's free air in the tires, the price will be over 40k. Ed

That doesn't explain :q:q:q:q. Who the hell is the owner of the dealership? For that price it better be GOD!

It explains it to me just fine, the dealership owners I have met drive quite a few cars. The one I worked for when I was in North Carolina (was a Chevy salesman at Rick Hendrick for a while) had 15 private vehicles including a 40th anniversary Corvette with only 18 miles on it. I know of another dealer (a Ford dealer) that has a 93 Cobra R in the showroom with only 7 miles on it as a display piece roped off. So a dealer with a lot of cars to drive + getting one of the last editions of a car = low mileage 7 years later.

My car is pretty close in mileage...

well, not really...

but within' 180,000 miles of that one.

damn shame to not drive these cars. I've never had a more pleasant run up I95 than I did in my Mark VIII.
