Whats the normal running coolant temps that people are seeing on there ls'es. I have a aeroforce gauge which shows it and mine goes up and down based on the driving and such and as most know the needle doesnt move. Mine is not overheating or anything just want to know if anyone else scans thiers.

I have a Bully Dog Watchdog unit for extra gauges and the Temperature Gauge on it reads between 198-214 for a high/low at running temp. It mostly stays between 203-208. In reference the stock gauge on the cluster hangs just below halfway at running temp. I'm running a Flex-a-Lite 160 electric fan on a Gen1 V8 http://www.bullydog.com/product.php?ID=1

I live in a cooler climate. 90 degree days are uncommon. 70's mostly for high temps.

Thank you. The 203 ish and up range is about what i see. Sometimes it can be a little lower.

In my fan experiments, the PCM keeps the gauge at "middle" all the way up to 239. At 239, it starts to command the fan to full speed and the needle starts to rise. I didn't let it go to see when the overheat failsafe kicks in.
In Dallas, I've seen over 210 quite a bit. I have a modified cooling system, so not necessarily a stock reference point.

Yeah just made me nervous because on my old grand prix gtp the temps that the ls see are too hot.

206-226 stop and go city driving with A/C on.

Thats about what I get too. When it gets to about 226, the fan kicks into high and the needle moves a little above the halfway mark. This only happens on outside temps higher than 80 degrees.
