I have 2004 LS V8. The top plastic Tie from Upper block into thermostat housing to lower cooler bypass hose broke. I noticed when I took it apart that the small by pass hose on the side was clogged bad with a rubber and paper type of wall. What is that by pass for ? What the Hell could that have been that clogged it ? Is there a way a home mechanic can do a pressure flush on the complete coolant system ? I had to lift when the steam hit the window...but i was gaining, but i had to lift to hope for no damage. The car is more than stock. Thank you for any help that can given
