I love my mark viii and dont consider it an old mans car.

Face it though. when the car was designed and built the average buyer was 50+. I know I for one would have NEVER bought one new. Why would I have spent $40k on a Lincoln "sport" coupe when I could buy a corvette or simular sports car for the same amount of money.

Im just glad someone did buy my car new, because I sure love it now. Anyone who has been for a ride in my car knows its no "old mans car".

In all seriousness though... that is why I bought the car... a 4.6L 4V that goes like stink, 2 doors, and air suspension that you can lay on the frame...

My Grandfather(on my Dads side) drover a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T and my Grandfather(on my Moms side) had a 1972 Plymouth Road Runner. So the Mark is not an old mans car at all! lol

the other day leaving school a kid in a g5 called my mark an old pos and asked if i wanted to race. everyone in my car just laughed cuz they knew my mark had some power even with 4 people in my car and a full tank, when the light turn green i blown him away was't even a race lol. take your sis for a ride in your mark and floor it and don't stop till she crys mercy lol. (jk that might not be the smartest idea).

Well in 1993 a Lincoln Mark VIII made 3 passes at Bonneville at I believe an average of 181 mhp and at the time set the speed record for it's class ... so what does that mean hmmmm...

When i started at my new shop they all drove rice pulled up in my mark the usual lincolns are slow old men cars blah blah blah anyway told them anyone wanna run got out on the highway with a 240 and when i got back he didnt say a word but dont race him you might not like it now have 2 looking for mrks

I was driving home from work the other day got into it with some rice and spanked the kid silly. When we got to the next stop light Ive never seen such a look of shock on this kids face. I bet he will think twice before he takes one on again.
