just wondering if there are other brands other than motorcraft that are of a good quality when it comes to control arms ???i need to replace both front upper and lower in both sides.....

Better you go OEM or Moog if you want quality and the longest life span. Otherwise feel free to go on ebay for one 1/2 price. With that being said, 1/2 price means half off everything (life span, quality, etc...) Except labor, which you'll end up paying for twice if you go with cheap parts 
Try pricing parts from Amazon, Rock Auto and Tascaparts.com. I bought Moog lower control arm from Amazon for $250.00 ea. Moog ball joints were $150.00 ea and the uppers (OEM) were 200.00 and change from Tasca. These were for a Gen 2, and purchased 6 months ago. Good luck with your project you will enjoy how the car rides when the front end is rebuilt.
