confused :(

okay ive looked in my 95 service book, and the part # for the engine air intake resonator is 9F763. is that the air silencer that alot of people remove? if so, is it by the end of the hood? in other words, the end as in the part right by the windshield. how do you remove that if thats it? anyone have a write up on how to remove the intake silencer? need one thanks !!

disregard that post. is the Engine Air intake resonator the air silencer that alot of people remove? i found a page under intake that has a diagram.. Engine Air intake resonator, removal and installation.
1. Remove engine app cover retainers and lossen cover.
2. Loosen engine air intake resonator clamp at air clean outlet tube.
3. lift engine air intake resonator from locating studs and remove air cleaner outlet tube.

is that how you remove the air silencer? need to know if this is the right thing before i do it

don't drill the air box.
totally negates the set up of the air box that pulls cold air from the fender.

im not going to drill the air box. seems like a lot of work to remove the air silencers, maybe because i've never done any physical work to the car or anything like that, except removing the air intake box, changing oil and the usual. i will print that build up out, thanks dude! will maybe do this over the weekend, maybe take a before and after video idk. hopefully it wont rain or snow, thats new york for you, snow in october...
