hey guys have a question i have a first gen 2002 ls sport and lately since its been cold outside when im at red lights i feel the car shaking and or vibrating like a rough idle or a misfire but the car runs fine and according to obd2 scanner nothing is wrong do u think this has something to do with dvvc cuz when i went to get a oil change they told me radiator has never been flushed and my antifreeze and water has fully seperated im just lost cuz car runs great anyone can help me???

Have you replaced your valve cover seals? This is one of the most common problems with the LS but is a fairly easy fix as long as your at least a little bit mechanically inclined. It's been covered on here many times so do a search but a quick way to check is to pull out your COP's and see if they have oil on them.

so your antifreeze and your water are in a epic battle with each other, or is it more like when two kids have to share the same bedroom and they have to draw a line down the middle of the room to keep it separated?

a bad DCCV shouldn't effect anything other than the climate control system, coils are the most logical thing to be looked at

thanks guys ive been reading about these valve cover gaskets and coils and plugs so imma do em all at once its just too cold right now but u guys can lead me in the right direction to order the right parts i know to stay away from bosch but i keep hearing about e3

What are you idling at when it does that? On very cold days my LS has to run for a WHILE before it gets comfortable. Until it does, it behaves like what you're describing but the RPM's drop down to about 500. Once it's been running for a while it's fine, and on days when it's not below freezing it's fine. didn't experience any of that last winter, and it was a harsher winter then.

Well, you didn't search heard, did ya? Your symptoms (which I experienced as well) were covered under a topic that I made.
