Code 12?

[BIG ROLLER]

Scanner came up with Code 12 "Can't control RPM at high RPM" but can't think what the problem is.

The code also reads Code 12/412.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Forgot to add that my Check Engine light came on and Code 12 is what the scanner had showed.

Maybe I should have worded it differently but has anyone else had that problem before?
