Cobra intake and EGR

Who's running a Cobra intake and kept the EGR functioning? I plan on doing this intake swap and have not found any definitive info on a straitforward way of keeping the EGR functioning. Does the Cobra EGR tube work(if I can find one)?

I think you would need the cobra EGR tube. Also you would need to use a cobra fuel rail. I just made an EGR block off plate for mine.

Have the Cobra rails. I think the Cobra EGR tube is all I really need but have anyone tried this? I'd prefer to keep the EGR intact.

I agree with Tommy's post about the benifits of keeping the EGR working. If all I really need to do is get the Cobra EGR tube then why not. If there is a lot involved though I'll just block it and turn it off in the tune.

I'm doing the Cobra intake swap.... but I'll be running 01 Cobra exhaust manifolds so I will have to fab an EGR tube but I will be keeping it.... and I'm not going to even try and explain why you should keep it...

It can be fixed with a tune.

To much work. If it's not a strait forward fix I'm not going to bother right now. The car is not my daily driver so I don't care as much about part throttle performance and mileage. Then I'll get around to fabbing stuff up eventually.

Well you asked and I answered... Ford never made part #XXXX Cobrad mustang intake to Mark VIII, but you could always try, it might be close enough....

I blocked mine off but i would like to hook it up one day. Cobra rails, cobra egr tube.

Well I have the fuel rails. I will try and pick up a Cobra EGR tube and see if it works. If not I'll just block it.
