climate control... went to the junk yard in the sky?

ok, well some time last month i was sitting in my car and i noticed that the screen for the climate control went out. all the buttons and functions work, but the screen is not glowing or showing up at all... anyone have any idea what is going on?

would like to fix this, but i have a feeling that the only way that its going to be fixed is if i buy a new one.

You don't have to buy new, you could buy used...
