Hi guys,
First of all, this is something I posted about a month ago about a weird noise I kept hearing when my car was off.

I replaced the oil and cabin air filter a little over a week ago before driving down to New Jersey and about an hour and a half into my trip my AC decides to start blowing out air from hell on both driver and passenger side. It was working fine up until then. I did the self-test and got codes 12 62 and 27 98. I also noticed that my defrost isn't working for sh**. It's been about 30 degrees every morning and my car has been an ice box. I had it warming up for 15 minutes and I still couldn't see out my side windows or my windshield, but hot air is still blowing out. So three questions:
1) Joegr on the other forum said that it sounds like the noise was caused by "an actuator door that isn't able to move all the way to the position that the climate control wants it in." Is that what code 12 62 is?
2) Could I have moved something while changing the oil/replacing the cabin air filter that might have caused an issue with my climate control? I'm only asking this because the issues started the night after replacing the two.
3) I am in no way, shape or form good at working on cars. Do you think this is something I could fix myself or should I just save myself the trouble and get charged up the a** by a dealer to have it fixed?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
