I can get hot and cold air, but to get warm/hot air, I need to set it on like 76 or 77. Even right now when it's cold out, 70 blows cool air.

Replaced all plastic parts of cooling system last summer/fall. Did not do the DCCV. Is this the culprit?

2004 LS V8 with 102k on the ticker.

It could be the DCCV (especially if aftermarket). It could also be the interior temperature sensor. Is the problem the same on both sides? If not, then maybe one of the discharge sensors (or more likely, the DCCV).

don't think the DCCV is aftermarket, but i've only owned the car for 3 years. i'll check the passenger side tomorrow.

thanks joe

so problem is on both sides. it's just like 72 is 66 to the car.
