Dont know if this deserves its own thread. I was real worried about doing this but since one headlight already condensed up in the rain I figured it would not hurt.

I did a slightly modified version of the orange corner removal. I took a screwdriver and popped the orange out through the turn signal hole. I removed the headlight and baked it 250 for 7 minutes. Instead of prying it all the way open I just opened it enough to slide the orange piece out (my thinking was the less I separate of the glue the better). Slid the orange piece out put back in the oven for a couple of minutes, then stood on it for a few. Worked perfect, now the headlight that condensed, stays clear as can be.

PS, also painted the sidemarker black and disabled them, much cleaner look overall.

Dont be surprised if it does gain condensation. It would be best to clean it after taking it apart. 7 out of 10 times condensation appears after this project do to not cleaning the excess Gray glue or any glue that will clump.

Its been a week I am just late posting. No condensation and I have washed it and its raining today. I did use a long screwdriver and cloth to clean it and a hairdryer to dry out the old condensation.

Give it more time.

The glue clumps and when you seal it back up it creates uneven spots in the seal eventually creating a leak.

Good luck, maybe you are one of those guys that got lucky;)

I painted the chrome bowls black and it gave the amber lens a tinted amber effect. Looks way darker than it is in pics, especially my sig.

I am sure you love your car. And if it is not as dark in the sig maybe it looks good in person. But your car looks HOT except for those two parts. The rims, the tint, the drop HOT. but I think those corners and side markers stick out like a sore thumb. I mean your ride looks dope regardless but just my $.02.

Trust me, I said it before " I hate the blacked out look" and it irritates me that my sig is so deceiving:lol: But it looks good:cool:

With no reflectors at all the painted bowls make it look really slick. Lots of people say it reminds them of a Skyline but I like the smoked amber a lot. Reminds me of some 7 series and 5 series BMW's. Plus they gave me :q:q:q:q with my most recent inspection, they thought there wasn't enough light without the reflector but they suck and there is more than enough.
