all mods will make your ls run high 13's in the quarter.
I talked to him about all of it back in the Spring. He does not understand that the xCal is married to the vehicle, which is gone, and that the tune file he has is of no use to anyone else. He thinks that the buyer has to have that xCal to adjust for the 4.10's.
It would have to be a custom driveshaft to go between an LS's transmission and the yoke on that 8.8". The LS's driveshaft uses flex plates, not U-joints, at the transmission and at the punkin.he said the driveshaft was out of some other car which sounded fishy to me.

That too, the guy is kind of a joke. Im gonna low ball the sh!t out of him.
Good luck. He seems like a bit of a tool, but does know what he is talking about. I pulled up the emails I had with him back in May. He wanted $1200 for everything, but said that included only the center section (no mention of axles). When I asked about it working with 2005 axles (since his was a 2005 and so is mine) he said that it needed 2000-2002 axles, which was part of the kit he was selling and only had 40k miles on them. The exhaust has turn-down tips on it and no crossover of any kind. I never did ask how he mounted the 8.8 up in there, either. If he has everything needed to bolt it all in without any fabrication it is a pretty good package. I would ask what the driveshaft is made out of, too.
It sounds like you are not asking the right questions. You learn that some people do not know how to give thorough information, and it is kind of like pulling teeth. Like the axles, for example...I had to ask specifically about them.My phone conversation with him consisted of, "Is the 8.8 mount fabricated yet?" "No." "So basically its just a bunch of parts not really made for the Ls that you compiled?" "No it all works in the LS with some skill." "I'll call you back"
