Can anyone recommend some good chrome wheels that aren't thin and spokey? Something that is beefy, deep dish, more solid than wire. Maybe in the price range of $180-225 a piece. I checked firewheel.com, tirerack.com, and a couple other places but nothing I really liked.

I have a '01 Gen1, but I have 17" '03 OEM 11-spoke chrome wheels currently on them now. I like them, but I'm looking for something a little more aggressive.

I would go a little bigger like an 18" or even a 19" but I don't know what modifications I would have to do like spacers and such.

....and NO I'm not lowering my car. I'm not filming a rap video.

you wanted to see what a decommissioned limo looks like, here it is.

Those must be 16" not 17".

How about the '06 17" chrome wheels? T-Money is selling his for a great price.

the exact diameter is 17.5"

I just found this website spoiledcars.com they have a great selection.

Yeah but what size are the tires? I bet they are listed as 225/55R16. That means your wheels are 16". I'm pretty certain those 11 spokes only come in 16" size.

Stick with 18's if you go aftermarket. The 06 chrome 17s are nice, but no dish. You won't get a deep lip on an LS without rolling the fenders.

I measured a spare rim I have laying around, and diameter came to 17.5 without a tire. Unless 16, 17, etc pertains to the inner diameter without the lip or edge

If I got 18" would I need to make any adjustments to the car?

Not if you get in with the right offset, no less than +38mm so you dont rub, also depending on the with. Dont remember the maximum width with +38 offset.

I have foose speedsters 19 wrapped in Pirelli p-zeros 255/40/19 i would sell them if your intrested.

call me bias, but i like a lot of the niche rims, some will fit your budget, and have the offset you need for which ever tire size you go with.
