chrome moldings

what the right way to get the chrome moldings from around the windows off these cars?

i tried that last summer when I did the wet wand.... they just wanted to bend and distort. thats why i was wondering the right way

I'm going to order some black 5/8" 3M pinstriping tape, and just cover the chrome with that. 02LSE96kajdnfksodntk I believe was the one who has done it that way, and it came out nice.

Is that what you are trying to do? Black them out?

ha! Thanks Pete. I was just about to try a search. I keep forgetting what size to use and I still didnt get around to it myself.
