Getting new exhaust friday 4/17/09!!! Need to replace lower ball joint passenger side so instead of paying 300 to 400 for steering knuckle i bought ball joint only for 69 plus tax.. Exhaust is going to be 2.25 all way thru with an h pipe and 2 cherry bomb extreme mufflers(2,5 in,out)They are painted red and look exactly like flowmaster 1 chamber mufflers. I hope she screams!!!!!
Right now i have factory with stock resonators on and i chopped off stock mufflers. It sounded pretty good but i want louder! It did wake up the car too.
BTW i have 2000 v8 sport. stock exhaust is 2.25 from manifold to slightly under front of car then the extension from there goes into 2 inch and then the tails have many kinks that go down to and into mufflers at 1.78 inch....extremely restrictive!
Now she will breathe and sound meaner,i hope. Oh yeah 2.25 all way except for mufflers and tips=2.5. Cost for exhaust=200.00 for custom work and pipes
i paid 120.00 for pair mufflers. will let you know how it is when it's done then it's time for cai!!!

Tail pipe section and from mufflers in out-factroy exhaust piping is only 1 and 7 8ths size. From resonators to front of car stock piping is 2 inch and from engine(manifolds) to front end where extension pipes join it's 2.25
