Dont waste your money. Just cut the mufflers off, weld on new tips, and be done with it.

Make sure that the tips extend a little beyond the rear bumper and that when you attach the tail pipe to reach the tips that they are not much larger than that stock pipe otherwise you are going to get a lot of drone in the cab.

Have a vortex 2 in 2 out on my 94 and it works great.

thats funny you mention the drone without the tips.....i did my exhaust and didn't have tips on it for about a month.....had alot of drone....put the tips on and most of it went away....weird....i liked it better without the tips tho

I took off the mufflers and left the resonator on and it sound like a magnaflow
