Has anyone ever experience a flashing Check engine light,it was on permantally before when checked the code read misfire on #1. Car is running smooth after getting some fresh gas in the tank. So what can I do to put out the check engine light other than going to a shop ? Hope to hear from someone soon

Lift the ground off the battery for 10 min usually helps.
