Lol, all in good fun. Glad to hear you found the problem, we woulda helped you sooner or later.

So quick questions my buddy who is a mechanic said the CAT should be covered for lifetime. Is that true? If so if its a bit clogged is there a way i can clean it and how much are cat converters anyways? Im pretty sure lincoln has a lifetime warranty on the cat.

Btw here are the codes

0133 - O2 Sensor Bank 1/Sensor 1
0420 - Catalyst System Efeciency below threshold (Bank 1)
0182 - Fuel Temp sensor A (Low Input)
0477 - Exhaust pressure control valve low

So the main question is there a lifetime warranty on the cat threw lincoln ?my buddy told me most dealers do have a lifetime warranty on the cat/ exhaust system and that i should pay nothing.

I don't know about the CAT man, sorry, but I sure know that I had whole lot of fun typing yesterday. lol

Yea you did got me going...lol:P Well imma go the dealership tmw im pretty sure it covers it my car has 98,000km's on it and im in canada. How much are regular cats anyways on these cars? By judging on the codes you think me and my mechanic are right?

Sorry man, but I am not familiar with the codes. Also, your car having 60k miles on is probably not gonna give up on it's Cats. Maybe the problem is in something else.

I had my check engine light coming on twice. First time it was for coils and the second time it was for something else but I can't exactly describe. The dealer said that because of my aftermarket cold air intake the water got into the intake manifold and then it went into the airpump that is located under the front left headlight behind the bumper. They said that water made it go bad and thats why I had the light. They changed that and few other stuff which I am not familiar with, I think they also changed the 2 valves that are on the resonators, one on each, but I am not sure about that one. If I find the reciept I'll post what they changed.

Well all these codes are pointing towards the cat im guessing one is maybe a little clogged..... I just hate going dealer and paying them to a diagnostic. In canada its 5 year 80k warranty and cat is 8 year 130,000 km warranty. I could go dealership and if its the cat they won't charge for the diagnostic im guessing one of the driver sides one are is a little big clogged... i don't really care because it goes away and comes back sometimes. i know its nothing serious....
