Feels like a shimmy/shake, loss of power, maybe like not all 8 cylanders are igniting. Its horrible at a constant speed of 45mph. I had "warranty/recall" work on two of the 8 cyl's, think this is the same thing again, feels like it to me. It's been about 1 year since the work.

Two things would help me,
1. anyone have the warranty/recall document they could give me?
2. how do I read the check engine code?

sorry, as I assume this has been asked a ton. hoping someone will be able to answer me. Flame away.

BTW flashing check engine light means damage is occuring...you can ruin your cats if you continue to drive.

yes it does sound like your coils

I didnt know that, it just started blinking - doesnt blink long, I have only seen it twice, lets hope I havent done any damage yet. will get it looked at asap.

thanks for the help guys.

also I own an 04 LSE - I might still have the paper in the glove box, but it looks like the doc you provided in the link is only good for 03's... I know I had service done using a paper I found here... wished I would have saved it, because the dealership looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told him about the warranty/recall thing. But my wife does to, so maybe I am just funny looking :D

autozone..pep boys usually do it for free, otherwise you have to buy a scanner

ah okay. Thanks. Thought maybe if I held my foot on the brake and broke the key off in my ignition while at the same time putting my left blinker on and turning up the radio while rolling down my windows that my odometer would blink at me a couple dozen times? :D

nope...thats only if you have the 460ci engine and johnson rod option...or a rear fog light...:D
