Im gonna be changing my rear shocks here soon on my 97 lsc. Any advice??? How hard is it??

The shock absorbers or the bags? The absorbers are easy. Three bolts you access from within the trunk and one at the lower control arm.
Remove the ones from the trunk first, then the lower. The lower is a long bolt with a catch nut. If you unscrew the bolt the nut will just fall to the ground then you know its out enough to just slide it out.

Well there you have it... easy job. Also you don't have to reconnect the sensor on top.

No one mentioned the burning out of the old bushing and installing the Poly rubbers from http://supercoupeperformance.com/partBrowser.aspx?PartID=502
A propane torch is enough to burn the old cracked bushing out of the upper mount plate.
The Sens'a trac shocks have a smaller stud size than the stock Lincoln shocks. These bushings take care of that.

What if I dont burn out the old bushings??

thank you this is just what the Dr.ordered cause my rear passenger side shock is banging like its bottoming out and some one mentioned this kit,so it must be the bushing causing this promblem

You don't need to jack up the car to replace the rear shocks as well, just get under there and unbolt the one bolt.
If your bushings in the top mount look like this and I bet they do. It will have a clunk.
[Mine wern't quite that bad.]
Plus if your replacing with Monroe Sens Trak's the stem is smaller than the stock shock stem. The link to those bushings above fix that.
