Hey, guys.

My '93 Mark VIII is getting a LOT of work done to it soon, thanks to Uncle Sam. Among those jobs I would like to include some solid engine mounts, and new rear shock mounts. I've got a couple questions here:

Where can I find the solid engine mounts these days? Are they listed for the Mark VIII or for a T-Bird or something else?

I'm changing my rear shocks over to Monroe Sensa-Tracs for a '97 T-Bird. Should I be looking at shock mounts for the T-Bird, or for the Mark? Does it make a difference?

Also, on a 110,000+ mile car - presuming nothing's been replaced already - would you recommend checking out the transmission mounts as well? I ask this because my car's getting a new tranny too, since the old one took a crap on me about a month ago. If this is something that should maybe be changed out, I'd like to do it while the transmission is already being worked on.

Thanks for the input, guys!

Check out your front ball joints and tie rods.

Thanks. Tie Rods have actually been done a few thousand miles back (was hearing a clicking from the front wheels and thought that might be it - wasn't) and UCAs/LCAs are already on my to-do list (hopefully will get rid of that click this time!).

Iszi, email Victor Malvar for the motor mounts.

Tell him his favorite frogman sent you his way.

Thanks. Will do, unless someone else has another online source for solid engine mounts?
